Win-win for big corps: they look charitable while selling record amount of nutritionally poor, ultra-processed food + getting an entire generation hooked to their taste+ they get rid of their deadstock that wasn't selling well. Grassroots organizations providing grain/simple food are blocked systemically out of areas where they are needed the most.
