@DaNanner @bookstodon @factolvictor @Kinniska @maryellen @rae @ninjapoodles well Amazon has given me a ridiculous amount of free books so until I get through them, I’m using my kindle. 🤷🏻‍♀️ As a small author, kindle unlimited is a godsend because people will actually read a no name author. We have enough of an uphill process in this economy.
@LadyOzma @DaNanner @bookstodon @factolvictor @Kinniska @maryellen @rae yeah, I'm not gonna stop using my Kindle, nor will I feel guilty about using it. My library books, everything goes there. Everything. I'm also not going to guilt other people about how they consume their books.
@factolvictor @rae @maryellen @ninjapoodles @bookstodon @DaNanner @Kinniska yeah. If someone wants to not use Amazon, that’s their choice. But I’m not going to guilt anyone for using Amazon, especially when it is so easy to interface it with so many things. I send all my non amazon books to my kindle so effortlessly, I even gave up using Callibre when I switched to Kindle.
@DaNanner @maryellen @rae @ninjapoodles @Kinniska @bookstodon @factolvictor bonus I now don’t have to manage my mother’s device because kindle is so easy even she can get her non amazon books on it. I love her but goodness managing her book habit and mine both was exhausting 😂
@DaNanner @maryellen @ninjapoodles @factolvictor @mzmazz @rae @bookstodon @Kinniska she reads more than I do. And the number of times I had to fix her dang ereader… ooof. 🤦🏻‍♀️ She still has a Nook to go with her kindle though because reasons. Haha. But we send her sideloaded books through kindle so there’s none of the loss problems she has dealt with before. It’s just so easy.
