@ILikeBooks Good point. I'd call it unnecessary gendering but that implies that there is a necessary gendering, which there isn't. Still even for the cishets gendering a lunchbox seems excessive.
@politemenace I remember in the 60s being worried if my lunchbox would result in more heavy bullying (there was no chance of not getting bullied), even when I tried for a neutral pattern I still got bullied over it.
