#perrottet 'My view is that those protests literally started to grind our city to a halt,” he said.

“The clear message here, and it is a clear lesson – everyone has the right to protest, but do so in a way that doesn’t inconvenience people.”'

Ludicrous excess sentencing.

The whole planet is 'grinding to a halt', it is destroying itself because of human prolonged abuse.

Wake up to yourself, Perottet, your comments
are inappropriate in the extreme.

If protests didn't cause inconvenience you could continue to ignore them, write them off as minor views instead of major concerns for young persons' futures.

Perottet has 7 young children. How is it he refuses to understand that their generation will have a disaster ridden world to inhabit?

Not just an 'inconvenient' one.

NSW premier describes jailing of climate activist Deanna ‘Violet’ Coco as ‘pleasing to see’

Dominic Perrottet welcomes minimum eight-month jail sentence given to Sydney Harbour Bridge protester

The Guardian
@RHW to be clear in NSW Labor totally supported these laws and Minns backed them after Perottet today
@silkyoak #NSWLabor equally blameworthy as far as I am concerned, backing the wrong decision this time w regard to that sentence. Didn't expect the activist to get off without a fine for disrupting traffic, but that was excessive.
