For #SilentSunday, a wonderfully plump #greyseal pup suckling from her mother.

Spotted this pair back in September on my local grey seal pupping beach in #Pembrokeshire - the beach that features in many of the chapters of my #newbook, 'Where the Seals Sing'.

@Dolphinchaz Thanks so very much for sharing this wonderful photo. I haven't visited any seal colonies in the John O'Groats area but was lucky to spend time doing research for my book around the Ythan Estuary north of Aberdeen and also on Orkney. Our Pembrokeshire pupping season ended a few months ago and we're now moving into the moult - another season that I love observing!
