Shopping in my small town grocery store a couple of days before US thanksgiving and seeing elderly people picking items off the shelves, checking the price and putting it back. These are not rich people. These are, in fact, poor elderly people on fixed incomes. We can't keep our community pantry shelves stalked with essentials.
Please don't with the "inflation isn't real" neo-libertarian talk. Please do contribute what you can to local foodshelves.
