I was so grateful for the opportunity to talk about my year of studying #neurology at #UCSF, how that was my own way of sitting #shivah, decades after the first, incomplete one, and how that year of reading #memoirs taking classes about #brain health, and hearing the stories of #caregivers gave me what I needed to write, with #BruceMiller, our book about my father's early-onset #Alzheimers.
