Just wanted to thank all in this instance for adding image descriptions. To a totally blind person like me it means a lot to have a picture in my mind of your images, especially the animal pics.

@WirlOfWirls Hi. TBH it's a new thing for me to be doing since landing here from Twitter. One thing I've asked of a few alt-text users, do you prefer just a description of the image or a littl bit of personalisation and like the directors cut commentary too.

@AlfgarDalio @MavisTheMoocher It depends on how detailed the picture is, a lot of detail goes a long way if the pic is something quite unique.

@WirlOfWirls @MavisTheMoocher ah thank you, mine are not hugely detailed nor that good pics, mostly off the cuff phone stuff and lots of the dogs and local walks.
