megan@IpseDixit I love it. My tree for years had the traditional (not) Christmas chilli lights, but they died last year. This year I’ve gone with elephant lights. Exactly what you would have found at the nativity…. 🤣
@meganchapman elephants at a nativity makes as much sense to me as a virgin birth, but there's always room for more miracles! 😁

@kangaloonatic obviously I didn't grow up with a Christmas tree (although I did sing in the church choir for 6 years...) so I really have no idea what I'm doing.
My husband isn't Jewish and grew up with trees but doesn't get into them now so the kid and I just make it up as we go along!
@IpseDixit I think that each tree is an expression of those who put it together.
