@thatnateguy I'd put this question in the same bucket as my impression of eating #TidePods from a #nutrition and #flavor perspective: honestly probably not great, but that's not the main reason why I don't recommend partaking.

For real though:

When the app is in use, it has the ability to scan the entire hard drive, access the contact lists, as well as see all other apps that have been installed on the device.

Hard pass. It's an app to watch videos. The correct level of permissions is "can stream videos from the Internet".
