@designative love the detail and comprehensiveness of your post.

Related to decision-making, I noticed recently that properties of good decision-making match the properties of good design thinking. So much so, that my new position is that design thinking is a decision-making discipline, not a design discipline:

Improve group decision-making outcomes with design thinking

Design thinking process and methods provide structure that counters your team's negative biases, so they can make better decisions.

@austingovella Agreed! I think a lot of people in the design community took offense to design thinking (and a lot of consultants turned design thinking into snake oil), but I never had a problem with it.

In my strategy practice, what I noticed is that -- most of the time -- what we are trying to do is to facilitate conversations, and design thinking becomes one more tool in the toolbox!

Thanks for boosting my article, and thanks for sharing yours! PS: I love "Collaborative Product Design"
