@euractiv_politics Shifting from unanimity to majority will imply the reform of the #EU with the adoption of an elected, or parliament named, executive to substitute the current #EUcommison, also the creation of a #Territorial legislative chamber, a Senate, to substitute the current #EUCouncil. The #EU has reached its limit of integration under its current structure, any further advances, particularly in budgetary issues, will never be accepted by many #EUmembers and by most of its population.

@euractiv_politics I think it isn't the right time for further #EU expansion, with the exception of #Ukraine so committed to #Europe that they are paying the price of that commitment in blood. All other current #EUCandidates are, at best, 15 years away from been ready. Even among current #EU members there some without a clear national consensus regarding their direction. It's time to improve the #EU by finding common ground about the basics: #EUFederal or not?
