The last of the turkey was made into turkey soup today. Bye Bye Birdie. #turkeysoup
@marblecitybooks Wonder if that would work with the massive costco pumpkin pie .. .. pumpkin pie soup!
@ericgus I think if you just used the pumpkin part and not the crust; add some chicken broth and heavy cream; heat it up in a pot. Sounds yummy to me.
@marblecitybooks Actually id prob use it to make ice cream in my Ninja Cremi ..
@ericgus Ninja Cremi? I'll have to look into one of those.
@marblecitybooks its a miracle device.. you can pretty much turn ANYTHING into ice cream, I got it originally for my type1 diabetic son to make sugar free /no carb ice creams but honestly its amazing.. I made egg nog ice cream by pouring the eggnog right from the carton (the kind from the milk/dairy section) into the pint, freeze it 24h then "spin" it into ice cream .. fantastic.
@marblecitybooks “egg nog ice cream” right from the carton ..
@ericgus Well, I know what I'm telling my kids I want for my birthday in January. I forget what I told them I want for Christmas. Maybe they remember...
@marblecitybooks maybe a little expensive, and its a bit loud *you are forcing frozen liquid to be ice-cream and it doesn’t want to be that* .. but its wonderful .. if you do make low sugar/fat ice creams, you may need to add a little extra liquid after the first spin, and if you refreeze it will often harden.. few seconds in the microwave fixes that .. there is an extensive FB group with loads of hints tips and thousands of ice cream crazies..
