Joshix 🦣@laika For what purpose do you need Streamlink? I can watch Twitch streams with mpv just fine without it.
@[email protected] Sorry, it's my mistake, because I didn't know that youtube-dl/yt-dlp supports twitch streams too. Streamlink can still be useful for some other streaming sites from [this (markdown link)](https://streamlink.github.io/plugins.html#plugins) list or for stream downloading, but Twitch and Youtube streams should work either way
@laika I think streams from german public broadcasters work with yt-dlp too
At least I remember watching one with a friend via syncplay (+mpv). It is a bit broken with streams, but works okay.
Syncplay + mpv + yt-dlp is btw a great foss combo for watching youtube and other videos together with people.
