#SolarEnergy is clearly the first choice for electricity, but for sustainable impact it is more important what #EnergyService is provided.
The women-led Tree_Sea.mals project reduces #FoodWaste with #PayAsYouGo cooling at a #Nairobi meat market. Expected results per year from three 15kWp PV chillers: 288t less meat spoiled, 77tCO2 mitigated and 24k€ savings in energy costs.

Modular #biodigers by Sistema.Bio provide an alternative for small-hold farmers. #EEP_Africa supports gender-inclusive recruitment & training, seeking to market 4000 biodigesters to avoid 7400tCO2 and 1.1M€ energy costs p.a.

This factory-made #biodigester by https://sistema.bio/ has been used for 3 years in periurban #Kenya, replacing polluting #charcoal and costly LPG with #cleancooking while producing fertilizer to organic farm. The feeding tank keeps solids out, less need to empty/purge the digester.
Satisfied customers are good marketing.
