--Lire en français-- The Ukraine Socialist Solidarity Campaign and the European Network in Solidarity with Ukraine join supporters around the world in denouncing the calls for a negotiated end to Putin’s imperialist invasion of Ukraine. Such calls really amount to nothing but support for Putin putting even more Ukrainians under his boot. With the imperialist invaders' defeat in Kherson, Russia is already on the run. Why should the Ukrainian people stop there? Those who call for “negotiations”, whether they are “leftists” or Kissinger and his type are promoting a “geopolitical” world view in which relations between imperialists matter more than the interests of the masses of people. Our most important responsibility is international working class solidarity. In the war in Ukraine, that can only mean supporting the Ukrainian people’s determination to expel this imperialist invader. Saying that has nothing to do with supporting any other invasion, including the US invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq. It is simply consistent with opposing those invasions too. A Putin victory will strengthen the far right internationally. We unequivocally stand for the right of self determination, the right to resist and the right to self defense whether it's in Ukraine, Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran or Palestine.
