@djwfyi @steveumstead Yesssss!!! I have needed this for years! This was why I did almost all of my grad school work in bookstores and coffee shops. I’ve always needed background noise to get stuff done without having people so close to me that I can understand their conversations.

@djwfyi I fully endorse this app. Been using it for months. I made a soundscape that combines the coffee shop with a babbling brook, a Japanese garden, and distant thunder. Don’t know why, but it works for me!

@djwfyi I use mynoise a lot , especially the Tropical rain and Café-sounds! It's great when I'm tired of listening to radio, YT, audio books and music, but I still need to focus and get work done.

Popping in to say that I use it all the time. It's amazing. You can also play several noises at the same time. Want rain noise by a cozy fireplace? This site got it.

@djwfyi Yes, I use it to drown out the noisy neighbour. The sounds are of excellent quality. And good idea to encourage donations - the owner runs it out of goodwill.

It seems to rely on streaming, which must put a huge load on the server.

Ah mynoise.net, my old friend.
Many of the generators are tuned to the same key, so you can mix and match multiple together. I spent a lot of time in school combining various generators together, and using the "save sliders to URL" option, it was super easy to bookmark my favorite combinations.
