@MarkWT Mark! Great to see you here too!

Coincidentally, have a question for you. Is there a way to get #IntelliCode to do its thing *again* when I've done something to move on past what it last suggested?

@gusper we’ve done a bunch of work recently to make sure it should always show the same prediction when you back up through an existing grey text, and we’ve been pondering whether to add an on-demand on Ctrl-Space like the regular IntelliSense list does. Would the latter do the trick for you?

@MarkWT That's exactly the kind of thing I was looking for. I've been doing the "back up" routine but for sure ran into a few cases where it was a bit of a journey.

On this machine, I'm using 17.5 P1. Would that already include most of the work you were referring to or should I get IntPreview on this box?

@gusper 17.5P1 should have all the work on regeneration of prior predictions ; it’s a top piece of feedback from earlier versions. Do let us know if it’s not doing as you’d expect!
@gusper sounds more like what you want is something to show another suggestion in the same spot? Pondering allowing that too
@MarkWT I'd say it's usually been a feeling of regret where I wanted to go back to something it had shown already but struggled to get it back easily. Will be more observant going forward now that it's more top of mind for me.
@gusper @MarkWT just adding a +1 on this I find myself in this situation a fair bit too. Would be great to have a way to easily "show previous suggestion" or similar
@damianedwards @gusper let us know if you are still hitting cases where just backspacing doesn’t regenerate what you saw as you were typing… we have hopefully made this a lot better in 17.4 than it used to be. Still brewing on an on demand feature…
