@emmessenn welcome Miyanda! I’ve found Metatext very intuitive to use with my iPad. It’s got clearly distinct sections for timelines & search.

Yes, more or less. There are *some* limitations seeing every post on other servers, but for the most part your federated timeline will be global.

@emmessenn @hoos30 @tessbarnes ah, can you explain this more? I’m using Metatext and constantly running into “we aren’t going to show you posts of people you follow from other servers.”

Which would suggest the “it doesn’t matter what server you pick” is a lie, but is it just the app and not my server doing that?

Just got done watching Chelsea Women beat Spurs at Stamford Bridge -I'm sitting out the World Cup so this is the only football I'll be watching for the next six weeks!

@emmessenn I was following Pulisic from Dortmund to Chelsea and fell in love ever since. So not a life long fan, but fan nonetheless. Reece James is my favorite right now, bless that man

@gfriend thank you Gil! Meta is the first one I liked on iPad and I prefer it over the Mastodon app. I've also tried Mammoth which has a column layout that suits the iPad in landscape mode. #ios
