Anyone have any experience with Edifier speakers - I'm looking for some real-person opinion on it (preferably from an audiophile).

Are they good quality and value for money? Suitable for music production?

@nevau I've got a pair of their bluetooth bookshelf speakers, they're fine for listening but I wouldn't use for producing. You could grab a pair of Yamaha HS7s for less than their high end 'audiophile' speakers. I got a pair for like £280 on eBay and they sound amazing 👌

@Sakti thanks man - this is great to know! I was looking at the R1700BTs for something fairly budget-friendly that are useful for listening, general purpose, and some production. So your comment is really helpful 🙏 I'll check out the HS7s.

@nevau it depends on the model you are looking at. The R1280 series are not worth considering if you are looking for an audiophile experience. R1850 and up are nice.
