I also love small, slow-paced gatherings (I run one for queer people).

@mojofearless absolutely. I like the ability to curate more effectively here. There is no algorithm pushing trash at me trying to get me to react. Just a better vibe altogether.

"We are the media". That is so important.
We attempt to encourage our youth to be producers not just consumers of media but rarely do we provide ways to encourage this in meaningful ways.

@DoinSomeCMD @christina I love this. I wish we could get more Video coverage of small sporting events. I'd rather my money and attention go to a local after work softball league than MLB.

Small festivals. I recently went to a juggling and circus festival that had less than a 100 people in attendance. I got to meet and chat to most of them over the course of the event. It was wonderful :)
