After that I took the bus to #HeienShrine
Then walked to Shirenin temple, whic I'd forgotten the name of but as soon as I went in I remembered it from my first time in #kyoto 5 years ago.
After that I continued walking to Kiyomizudera. It's almost unfair how pretty Kyoto is.

@Ghostlight_Ross one of my favourite temples. The garden is magical, I sat on edge of the room overlooking the garden for ages, along with a number of other people, everyone was quiet, gazing at the garden.
@Sidherian it's an incredibly beautiful garden, had I remembered the name I'd have still wanted to go again.
@Ghostlight_Ross what I found fascinating was that everyone did the same thing as they saw the garden, became very quiet and simply sat, drinking it in.
