Longtime Twitter user (with multiple accounts), but happy to put that chapter behind me and look forward to a future with Mastodon. Still learning how everything works, but it's exciting learning new things. (Such as the Mastodon PWA app rocks!)

@Tarkus Followed you. I'm more into Ayreon and Epica than Nightwish, but can appreciate Floor. A part from that, massively into Pink Floyd, E.L.P., Mike Oldfield (Ommadawn and return to) etc.

@Rembrandt Awesome! I like Ayreon a lot. I like Epica, but haven't connected with them like I'd want. At least not yet. ELP and Pink Floyd are right at the top of all-time favorites. I like Tubular Bells, but never got into Mike Oldfield.

For recent stuff, really loving Nightwish (of course), Porcupine Tree (and Steven Wilson solo), Pineapple Thief, Sabaton, Transatlantic, Unleash the Archers, Wardruna and Aurora (!).

@Tarkus I agree on Aurora. Wardruna, ... not all of it. After a full album of him I need a change. Sabaton is not my cuppa tea. Myrkur is a good one if you need something soothing.

@Rembrandt Yeah, Wardruna is for certain moods, not for everyday listening.

I will check out Myrkur.
