- War in Europe
- Economic crisis
- Global supply chain breakdowns
- Great resignation
- Climate crisis

How is top leadership an ivory tower?

@mikeleber that's fascinating. Is this because they assume these things are obvious?
On the other hand, ivory towers are still very common, especially in "higher echelons of organisations"

@mfloryan I honestly can‘t say. It is a community of some of the best known management thinkers and some CEOs of the largest firms in the world.
Of course they keep talking: empowerment, innovation, culture.

But not naming any of the big issues, seems interesting.
