Anybody #knitting or #crochet ? Can you do both? What do you like better?
@RebeccaPRN hi, yes I do both. I can do more with knitting but probably because I've done it longer. I can only really do granny squares with crochet, but I would love to make a garment. I have just discovered amigurumi! And here is my first completed item
@Christine_ that’s adorable ; love it 🐝

Hi Christine,
I wasn't aware amigurumis are that huge?!😲
Really nice though!

@Christine_ @RebeccaPRN Love that, Christine! How difficult did you find amigurani? I recently found out about amigurami, because I thought this would be cute to make: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/dalek-amigurumi #knitting #crocheting #amigurami #daleks #DoctorWho
@JudieLC @RebeccaPRN if you can do single/double crochet then it's fairly easy. You definitely need a stitch holder so you know where each new row starts. Mainly increasing and decreasing. I watched lots of videos on YouTube. I haven't however tried the more complicated patterns as I'm a real beginner. Things like a bumble bee are easy to get started on as a practice piece.
@Christine_ @JudieLC good info and yes! I lost track with rows - I will get a stitch holder thanks
@Christine_ @JudieLC @RebeccaPRN I love #amigurumi! I mostly do #StarWars characters but did this little Shakespeare for my daughter’s play director, and have done little animals too. #crochet
@Christine_ @RebeccaPRN A stitch holder is one of those plastic pieces you use so you can keep track of stitches, right? I call them stitch holders. Sound like something I could do. As soon as I finish moving. 😄
