Error, reproducibility and uncertainty in experiments for electrochemical energy technologies - Nature Communications

The authors provide a metrology-led perspective on best practice for the electrochemical characterisation of materials for electrochemical energy technologies. Such electrochemical experiments are highly sensitive, and their results are, in practice, often of uncertain quality and challenging to reproduce quantitatively.

A colleague is working with metal deposition in alumina nanopores and at points he feels like most authors in the field don't want their results to be reproducible.
In papers about material synthesis the experimental part shouldn't fit on a post-it note.
