My name is Anna and I'm an art director, gamedev and illustrator that's been working in games and animation for 8 years!

Most recently I was the Creative Services Art Lead on Fall Guys, and I'm now up to MYSTERIES. Here's some of my work!

@nchima Thank you so much! I get really obsessive about putting super-saturated colour in shadows and in places you wouldn't expect - it makes an image feel really juicy! I'm super happy you like it :D

@AnnaHollinrake I felt the instance thing was quite stressful at first, but when I realised I could interact with all and any of them regardless of my instance it didn't seem to matter anymore. Did you come from .art too?

@chrislewislee I couldn't get in! I came from .social but after I saw that .art defederated the whole thing (plus I wanted to access a large community for games) I figured gamedev.place was the best shout! But really, you're right, it's not that big a deal

@AnnaHollinrake That's why I left .art tbh. I didn't necessarily think they were wrong with their opinions just pretty heavy handed. Anyway I hope you enjoy gamedev!

@thisnorthernboy Thank you Rob 😭 It's so daunting coming to something completely fresh.

I've got a terrible habit of not diving in until I feel like everything is 'perfect', but I doubt I'll figure out what genuinely works for me that way. And will slowly drown as Twitter sinks into the depths
