@Paulatics Low-income seniors need at least basic dental and vision provisions. I had to put off a visit to an odontologist because I couldn’t afford even the cost of the evaluation for an ongoing problem.
Ontario does have a program for low-income seniors but it’s basic, doesn’t cover many things and you don’t have a choice where you can get the work done.
@Paulatics I do love the idea behind it, and am thrilled that it's getting past, but I'm one Canadian who does qualify but I will NOT be applying for it. Reason why is the CERB clawback, I fear that if I go through the trouble of applying and getting it, it will be clawed back in a couple years.
I'll need to check my records, but I think that you are already on the list for supporting Universal Basic Income/ Guaranteed Livable Income, am I correct?
