@eshornock thank you for listening. It is very hard. I spent last night on a video call with my brother discussing how we can take control of my parents finances because they seem to be following a QAnon influencer who is convincing people not pay their bills, mortgage or loans.

I am not optimistic about solving this Q stuff. If you believe a bunch of evangelical nonsense you can pretty much believe anything. But it's not just them who buy into this Q insanity.
I think you said that you did not have a religious upbringing but still your mother went down this road? I don't know how it is that otherwise intelligent people can fall for batshit crazy things from randos on the internet. Obviously it does happen but I don't get it.
