@Justanotherpiercer I got a Davus pentaloris on accident in an order and it's now one of my favorites. There is just something so cool about it. Even re-homing it today, it's so predictable. I gave it a nice hide and setup and then I decided to go back and add its favorite green moss. Predictable little dude prefers hiding in the moss lol!
@Imagibearding mine prefers hiding under her moss too actually. Certainly not as predicable though, I dropped some food in the other day and she was out and on the side of her enclosure haha!
Absolute stunner though.
Mine was actually a freebie too! It was an apology as the Avicularia Minatrix I got came with mites and the breeder felt bad so sent me one to say sorry. (I got rid of all the mites from the Minatrix. He's wonderful)
@Justanotherpiercer
I have an adult female of this species. She is the biggest escape artist that I've ever had. It is so important for them to have somewhere to hide, because the only other option they have when you disturb them is to flee. This is the species I hear from people the most that they've lost.
My girl will sometimes block her hide entrance and I have to be so careful, because she will bolt the minute I open the lid.
Incredible species and your setup looks good.
@VanessaSarges they're beautiful spiders!
Mine tried to bolt the other day when I was feeding her. Cheeky thing. Didn't really go far, just sat on the side of her enclosure.
