My masto feed went down earlier during #EngvPak. Feeling sorry for #Afridi and rest of the #pakistan team, but the skill of #curran and #rashid in particular was extraordinary. And the sheer minerals on #Stokes - mind blowing.

@MilesGeffin Pakistan didn't bat well enough nor bowl consistently enough. Stokes is a freak, performs best under the biggest pressure (except his first 2 deliveries). England were solid and deserving winners. Great game.

@40Below bit harsh. #pakistan were well in it until #afridi broke down. But agree, they were about 30 runs short after #eng throttled them in first innings. Great game indeed!

@MilesGeffin they played well generally but were sloppy too often. England ran a tighter ship, and they won. I'm not saying it to lay the boot in, just analysing why they lost. They had some bad luck, and they were also sloppy at times.

@MilesGeffin something about Curran makes things happen, despite being an ordinary looking 75mph dobber. Extraordinary bowling figures today.

@owenhb17 totally agree. #curran’s figures were insane in any game, let alone a WC final. And thought #rashid was absolutely phenomenal as well.
