#introductions

Hi Mastodonians, MastoDons, & MastoDoñas!

I am an oncologist and scientist at the NCI developing #radiopharmaceuticals in the lab to help image and treat cancer.

My research sits at the interface of #oncology #chemistry #radiochemistry #DrugDevelopment #ClinicalTrials #nucmed #radonc.

Beyond the professional, I enjoy #audiobooks, #fitness, #coffee, and occasional #beer #homebrewing.

Looking to connect with and learn from diverse thinkers in oncology, medicine, and beyond.

@freddyeescorcia hello boss!!

@Dr_paulevj hey!

I see that you’re registered across several servers.

Did you have to set up username for those or is there a way to connect one sever to another?
@#twittermigration

@freddyeescorcia I do not know what I am doing so I registered until I Figure it out. I need to post too but too much work boss!!

@freddyeescorcia nice a fellow #nucmed ! 🤗

What are you working on? Standard care or novel compounds?

@Kmachel

Yes!!!

We do both! We make new agents in the lab, characterize and then test them for in vivo performance. We do both imaging (mostly PET) and therapy with both beta and alpha emitters.

And you?

@freddyeescorcia nice!

I was working on FAP compounds focused on theranostic use of same molecule for labeling with Ga-68/Lu-177 and Ac-225.

Although now I am a product Manager for the biggest Lutetium-177 manufacturer 🤗

But I still indulge in literature and love to discuss current Trends on conferences.

Are you going to the SNMMI?

@freddyeescorcia I meant the fall therapeutic meeting in Washington of course ☝️😅
@Kmachel you know, I should have, but I’m gonna skip it this year 😬😅

@freddyeescorcia ah I see.

Colleagues of mine goes there, did a lot of interesting stuff with integrines so also TME focused Research.

Anyways, nice seeing the community migrate over here as well.
