Proposal for #musodon #FediverseMusic #MastoMusic folks - the next #BandcampFriday (Dec. 2nd), we make it #mastoadmin appreciation day (MAD, if you will) and donate our proceeds to our local instance.
The Fediverse has been very welcoming to music creators - it'd be great for us to give back.
I see a decent number of boosts and favs, so - I'm going to go ahead and say it's "official" (well, as official as anything I proclaim):
Dec. 2nd, #BandcampFriday is also #MastoAdminAppreciationDay #MAAD
Music creators who want to participate - tag your Dec. 2nd posts appropriately, and donate your Bandcamp proceeds that day to your friendly local admin.
This is the first time I've tried something like this, so I have no idea how it'll go. But, at least *I'll* participate 😄 and thank you all!
