I can - I was doing but from reading advice I was told the content warning was overused - more appropriate for offensive imagery/sensitive materials.

I did put my early toots as CW "Politics", but was then told overuse invalidated it.
Like many stepping in here from Twitter, I don't wish to destroy what has been built up previously & what differentiates Mastodon from Twitter.
I have a feeling there will be many stumbles on the way.
@JohnWest_JAWS fedi is not a homogenous place and you will get differing opinions. Fwiw I think if you're not on a politics focused instance it's better to err on the side of caution.
