@Vicmeldrew I only read Crime and Punishment last year and was literally screaming for Rodion to stop giving the game away. An astonishing book.

@captainjjb @captainjjb Sadly I read it several years ago. My memory was finishing it and knowing I had read something so unique, so compelling and so wow!

Forgetting the brilliant storytelling for a second. The moral question the book asks. Are there people so heinous in this world that you could comfortably live with yourself after killing them or would the punishment of your conscience be to great. Its ever present in the book (its what its about) it does make you question yourself.
