@sigchi @andresmh @nigini Totally agree, I really like the organic nature of how https://hci.social has established itself so far. I worry that making this instance officially tied to SIGCHI or ACM may overcomplicate things and make it feel less inclusive. Maybe we can also learn from how this is done at https://vis.social, which as far as I understand has a broad range of visualization folks, not just academics and IEEE members?
