I really enjoyed reading this, not least because it points to approaching #AcWri as an 'act of love' rather than as chore.

As a teacher of academic writing, I try to create spaces for writers to actually enjoy their writing by looking forward to it, e.g. creating nice spaces in which to write, having people to talk to about your writing and being motivated by the importance of what you have to say.

Oh, thanks for this toot and short read.

For me, today's #AcWriMo was writing not for others but as deeper engagement with a transcript. And looking forward to it as meeting a friend for #ShutUpAndWrite #SUAW

Over the weekend my focus was on reading (listening), but writing on this platform is a different engagement for me... appreciated by at least a few others 😀
