Morning Mastodonians!

I see the @SDF server stayed busy last night - good to see! Hope our friendly moderators were able to get some sleep anyway. Tons of new followers (is that what followers come in, tons?) but not too many to follow back. I'm looking for a little effort on the profile (at least an avatar of some sort and a little bit in the bio) and then a few posts. Any engagement will get you a follow back. Go slow, get your toes wet and ease into it. The water is fine! #Mastodon

I have one big chore planned for this weekend - paint the playroom. My wife has picked out Wild Pansy (a kind of purplish blue) for the walls and Deep Fire (a brick red) for the closet and accents. I don't get involved in colors, I'm just the beast of burden. I enjoy painting, although these textured walls will be the death of me. #housepaint #HoneyDoList

Other than that, not much. Weather is going to be great. Should probably get started clearing the leaves (yeah, I'm one of those leaf blower guys - at least it's just an electric one). Take the dogs for a walk. Watch some football. Watch some hockey. Play a solo #boardgame - you know, just the usual weekend stuff. How about your plans? #weekend

Yesterday wasn't too bad, slogging in the #SaltMine and you know why? It is "no meeting Friday", which means no scheduled meetings. I did have a few impromptu ones - no problem with that. Oh, and I didn't really do much work, which helped. Basically just hung out on Mastodon instead - far more interesting!
