Tonight, the Netherlands is celebrating the #nachtvandenacht, an event designed to celebrate the night and raise awareness for #lightpollution. At the Anton Pannekoek Institute for #Astronomy, we are open for visitors from 20:00 until midnight with hourly stargazing tours and it looks like we will be able to show Jupiter and #Saturn through a thin veil of clouds 🙏 Here's #Jupiter as seen through my own telescope a few weeks ago from my frontyard #astrophotography
