#TellFedi There is an android option on advanced settings to limit the number of background activities. The options are: 2,3,4, default. Of course, no one tells you that 'default' is *actually f-in * 20. Choose 4 and enjoy a renewed battery life without a single problem (so far in 2 weeks).

Note that this is not persistent across reboots.

@Santral Don't do it. Just let Android optimize it for you. A lot of those are services that need to be running to provide basic OS functions.

@dusnm I guess they are usually sleeping and have a small waking overhead or something like this. I have honestly had 0 issues since I started doing this.

Maybe someone might arrive with some sort of bad experiences? Have you?
