In the shrine of the Gniezno Cathedral (Gnesen/ Poland), however, there are only a few bones of the former bishop of Prague, Adalbert of Prague (or, as the Slavs call him: Vojtěch/ Wojciech), who was killed by the pagan Prussians as a missionary and thus became a martyr . The largest part was transferred to St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague in 1039.
