This past weekend we held the first #permacomputing edit-a-thon. For two days a we've been going through all the stuff already added to https://permacomputing.net and discussed extensively the next steps to develop further this nascent concept and community of practice. We now have a few pads packed with stuff that we need to process and add back to the wiki, including a much better editing/copywriting guideline, plan for a better introductory text, as well as a beginning of an action plan for the group to work further together and organize a few more things in the coming months.

It's pretty cool :)

Thanks to Varia for hosting us, and of course thanks to all the participants: @cmos4040, Gizem, Katía, Lukas, @michal, Ola, @pixouls, @praxeology, @sandu, Sujata, and @viznut

permacomputing

@320x200 @pixouls @praxeology @viznut wished i could find such a group near home...

but focused on #permamobile let's see if the hashtag catches up at least for me instead of #mobileonlylife + desktops forbidden!

i also could never manage to really use irc and mailing lists in my lifetime, plus both usually suck on mobile.
