I finished my #hueshiftafghan! Or, a baby size of it, because it's for a baby sized person. I am about to start the full size version for a half size person, my brother's 8 year old step daughter. I hope she's still into pink anf purple by the time I finish it.

The ends are woven in now but the consequence of the seriosuly overdue storm finally hitting is that the light is grey and a bit miserable now and not so good for taking photos of very vibrant knitted blankets.

Why is there a satellite dish on my balcony? I do not know.

@unpopulardaffodil That's beautiful. I always marvel at people who knit one of these because I never have enough colours to make even a small one, nor do I like weaving in ends! Plus, I'm a slow knitter, so everything takes a long time to knit!

@Ebly Thanks! luckily the recipient requested it in acrylic for ease of washing so the investment in 7 balls of yarn for the small version was not nearly as bad as it could have been. I have never finished a project of this scale before so I'm a little shocked I did it, let alone so quickly tbh!

The colour changes kept things interesting enough to pull me through, and the original size is made of several sections smaller than the one I made sewn together, so it's actually less of a slog than you'd think! It's perfect mindless TV knitting imo.
