Brady is out of town for the weekend (in NJ to play games with his nerd friends), and managing the dogs by myself is proving to be challenging. :(
Doc said the swelling and pain may last up to a year from the sprain, and unfortunately the PT is aggravating it. I know it's important to do, as my mobility on my sprained ankle is only about half as good as the other one, but it makes it very sore for several hours afterwards.
The new dog is still in the process of being trained so she still pulls *really* freaking hard, and nearly yanks me down the stairs on the way out. She's making great progress, but some things are more challenging than others.
She's getting much better at controlling her barking (very food motivated, which helps a ton.) I can get her to *stop* now (mostly), but we're not at the point where she can just *not* bark. She's got "sit" and "wait" down, but once I give her the "okay" to release her, she's like a bullet down the stairs.
She's smart and is a quick learner, so I'm hopeful. We haven't had her long.
