I have a hard time believing neurotypicals exist.
Almost everyone has something going on: OCD, depression, cluster "B", addiction, problems with impulse control, gender dysphoria, so on, so forth.
I've never met anyone who's "typical".

There is a saying —
“birds of a feather flock together”
I.e., you tend to associate with others that are similar to yourself in some way.
This idea also has a jargon which is used by certain specialists to name it — homophily.
I suspect the result of this might be — if you are NOT normal / neurotypical, then you probably don't associate with many if not any normal / neurotypical people.
