@mala BinaxNow is pretty awful as well. You have to very carefully drip exactly 6 drops of this apparently hazardous reagent fluid in a small hole while you're possibly shaking from being nervous or sick.

But you get used to it.

@ill_logic oh it worked fine — i don’t think the reagent is dangerous so much as you don’t want to wash out the reaction. But I don’t know that! I’d love an explanation for all the conditions they require. i do think much of it is that they can only test the effectiveness of a narrow path of choices (i.e they know it works at this %age for 6 drops, but haven’t tested it sufficiently for 5 or 4)
