Linux Mint is the distro I usually install for customers who want to try #Linux

It's the distro I recommend for people who are coming from Windows and are curious about alternatives.

The Cinnamon Desktop isn't that retro... but does take some cues from Windows 7 and I guess some people may consider that retro.
