I made sure to have a diverse list of authors this year. I desperately want to be exposed to different cultures and experiences. This year's authors were combinations of Black, White, Arab, Female, Male, Gay, Straight, titles, titles. Mayhaps only my opinion, but opening ourselves up to experiences other than our own is the only way we can truly start to mend this country, and I'm doing all I can to be part of that. I hope you'll join me.
