If you keep multiple live USB sticks with Linux around, you don't need that any more. Ventoy lets you simply put an ISO file on a flash drive and boot from it! No need to overwrite or even extract it.

Ventoy

Ventoy is an open source tool to create bootable USB drive for ISO files. With ventoy, you don't need to format the disk again and again, you just need to copy the iso file to the USB drive and boot it.

@unfa @boss so I presume you haven't come across #DriveDroid yet then? https://www.drivedroid.io/
Boot your computer from an .iso *on your Android phone* you can chuck your USB drive in the tech bin...
DriveDroid

@acesabe

Interesting...
Is it FOSS ? I can't find in on F-Droid.

@unfa @boss

@Iutech @unfa @boss tbh I've not used it for few years now. Looks to be abandoned and no FOSS info either, plus you need rooted phone so proceed with caution! Pretty cool if you have a roomy rooted phone tho ..
