I downloaded Skyrim for Nintendo Switch on sale a couple years back and still haven't gotten to playing it. Now I've found an old post in my weblog archive about watching my brother-in-law play Skyrim, 10 years ago.
ok so in the #skyrim tutorial scenario i didn't notice that you can choose between imperial hadvar or stormcloak ralof, so i ended up following hadvar and tried to betray him when we ran into stormcloaks, but i couldn't kill him and the stormcloaks tried to kill me so i just had to go with it (killed the torturer though)
anyway later, thanks to gestural combat on the switch, i accidentally clawed at hadvar's little kid nephew at riverwood, and everyone attacked me, and i just ended up deleting the #skyrim save data and starting fresh and this time i noticed ralof and followed him instead
I somehow managed to go through the #Skyrim Golden Claw quest without once noticing the dragon shout in the sanctum, so back at Riverwood I found I couldn't actually return the Claw to Lucan Valerius because I hadn't technically completed the quest yet. lol how'd this get past QA
Also getting really annoyed at controls on #Skyrim for Nintendo Switch; maybe I just need to get used to them but it gets tedious reassigning shields/weapons/spells/claws (I'm a Khajiit mage) to the zL and zR buttons constantly. I should probably respec.
Is it weird that when I finally managed to buy Breezehome I kinda lost interest in continuing with #Skyrim and just wanted to settle down in my little house and live a nice quiet life in Whiterun?
Last night I planned to finally stop procrastinating on the main #Skyrim quest and go climb to High Hrothgar, but instead i got distracted by a treasure map I found on some bandit and ended up treasure hunting for gold to keep decorating Breezehome
